Bhuja is made from a wholesome combination of natural ingredients including yellow split peas, chickpeas, peanuts, sultanas, turmeric, fennel and cumin that are strong in nutritional value and antioxidants, and keep you sustained throughout your day. We favour certified non-GMO ingredients that are also certified gluten-free and suitable for vegans. Bhuja is also a low GI product. GI (Glycemic Index) is a measure of the effect of carbohydrate-containing foods on blood glucose levels. Low GI foods are digested and absorbed slowly in the body, meaning they produce gradual rises in blood sugar levels. High GI foods are rapidly digested and absorbed, resulting in large fluctuations in blood sugar levels.
